MORE REASONS TO VOTE FOR PRESIDENT BIDEN

Recently I discovered two more reasons to vote this November for President Biden. It has become apparent to me that if he doesn’t win, the numbering and naming problems would be horrendous for our nation.

First, the numbering problem. How would we number King Donald? Every King really does need a number. A little research led me to conclude that he really ought to be King Donald IV.

King Donald III of Scotland lived 1032-1099. His brief reign was violent like most of them were in those centuries. He ruled 1093-1094 until a nephew usurped him, blinded his uncle, and imprisoned him. Blind King Donald III died in prison and lies in eternal rest on the island of Iona.

His predecessors (King Donald I and II) didn’t fare much better. Times were tough in Scotland in that era.

But if we all decided on King Donald IV as the best number, we still would be left with the problem of naming his successor. King Barron I would be awkward. Who has ever heard of a King Baron? It would be a confusing mishmash of monarchical titles. Thankfully, King Donald has not named one of his sons Prince or Duke. King Prince? King Duke? What a mess.

So, as if I needed them, I have two more reasons to vote for Joe Biden, which I will do without fail.
