A Voice For People With Disabilities Across the State of Kansas.

Our Work

The Kansas Democratic Disability Caucus is a statewide home for advocacy and action. We invite you to join our work. We meet and organize actively online, in addition to our in-person formal meetings at Washington Days and Demofest. We welcome your participation.

Our priorities include Medicaid Expansion in Kansas, addressing the I/DD waiver waitlist, advocating for equal pay for disabled workers, overhauling the home and community based support waiver to address better support for caregivers and many other issues that impact Kansans with disabilities.

Our current officers: Caucus Chair Joe Cheray, Henry Johns - Vice Chair, Monica Hill - Secretary, Lori Blake - Treasurer and April Neff and Trae McPherson - Committee People.
