Our Work
The Kansas Democratic Disability Caucus is a statewide home for advocacy and action. Our current officers Caucus Chair Joe Cheray, Jeff Howards - Vice Chair, Lori Blake - Treasurer, Rhett Murphy - Secretary, Bridget King and Paul Jefferson - Committee People, invite you to join our work. We meet and organize actively online, in addition to our in-person formal meetings at Washington Days and Demofest. We welcome your participation. Our current priorities include Medicaid Expansion in Kansas, addressing the I/DD waiver waitlist, advocating for equal pay for disabled workers, overhauling the home and community based support waiver to address better support for caregivers and many other issues that impact Kansans with disabilities.
