Announcements:
The Caucus met in Topeka at Washington Days State KDP Convention on Saturday March 1st at 11 am. Former FSA Kansas Executive Director and State Treasurer Dennis McKinney was our guest speaker. We also reorganized and elected officers for 2025-205. Our Friday night social on 2/28 featured “Tumbleweeds” for hospitality, with help of many friends. Stay tuned for a recap of the weekend. We were proud to take a leadership role in the passage of Resolution Condemning Donald J Trumps Behavior Against Ukraine.
Our Work
The Caucus works to educate and stimulate interest in Food and Farm Issues - driven primarily by the initiative of individual members in their home counties. We meet in person during the KDP statewide meetings- Washington Days in late winter and Demofest in August. We are a recognized ancillary committee of the Kansas Democratic Party. Membership is open to all Kansas Democrats.
