Our Work

Rural means neighbors. Rural means wide open spaces. Rural means small towns and sense of community. Rural means agriculture. Rural means a pace and approach to life. Rural also means a compassion and sense of fairness and justice. Rural means rolling up our sleeves to fix things. The Rural Caucus of the Kansas Democratic Party is here to be your progressive rural voice.

The Rural Caucus provides full membership to all registered Kansas Democrats who reside in Counties below 50,000 in population. We welcome associate membership from all Kansas Democrats, and we strive to represent your rural point of view.

Our policy priorities in 2025 include public education, rural hospitals, and economic development … among others. We will be connecting people, planning events, and creating connections. We welcome your involvement.
