National Ag Day, 2024
The Food and Farm Caucus celebrates the dedication of Kansas farmers and farm families on National Ag Day, March 19, 2024.
In the early 1970s, one farmer could feed nearly 76 people. Today that same farmer feeds more than 165. And while farmers make up a smaller share of the nation’s Labor Force (1.3% today versus 4.3% in the 1970), they remain vital contributors to our national economy as well as environmental stewards.

National Ag Day is organized by the Agriculture Council of America (ACA), headquartered in Leawood Kansas. The ACA is a nonprofit organization composed of leaders in the agricultural, food and fiber community with a focus on increasing the public's awareness of agriculture's role in modern society.
